MEMBERSHIP

Compulsory Membership is that who registered with protectorate of emigrants under section VIII of emigration ordinance and proceeded abroad. And it costs no fee for card.
Voluntary Membership proceeded abroad for at least one year period but not registered with Protectorate of emigrants. And you have to pay PKR-2000/- into OPF welfare membership account Askari bank(link).

REGISTRATION

Account registration at Web Portal is only required if you are willing to apply for OPF Membership or FERC card.
If you have ever registered here against your valid email, cnic number and passport number then the system won't allow you to register again on the same email/cnic number/passport number. Then you have to just directly login with the same last registered email address.
Before submitting the form make sure you don't miss any mandatory fields but if the message still appears then go through the form and find there must be text box with red borders and a message below it. Carefully re-enter that feild and press submit button.

LOGIN

You can login only when you register yourself with your valid email address.
If you forgot the password then follow the steps:
  • click on Forgot Password? link on login page
  • Enter your registered email address
  • Click on Submit
  • An email will be sent to you if your email is registered on the portal.
If you have not registered on the portal then you might face that prompt. Then first register Here
The above message occurs only by the following while entering email address:
  • if you use any of the special characters mentioned above.
  • If you use extra space between alphabets or in the end of email.

Profile Update

To update profile go through the following tabs and carefully read the data you have entered and upload the basic documents in attachment tab:
  • Personal Tab
  • Contact Tab
  • Attachment Tab
When attachments are uploaded click on Update Profile
To upload documents make sure you follow the following steps.
  • 1. Browse an image
  • 2. Select an image
  • 3. Click on upload button
  • 4. Successful message will prompt
  • 5. Then go for next image
  • 6. Then click on Profile button
Go through the profile and make sure none of the text box is empty. If any of the box is marked wih red border then enter the field with its requirement. Especially the Protector number field.

COMPULSORY MEMBERSHIP

If you have Protector Stamp on passport then you can apply for compulsory membership.
If you proceeded abroad for at least one year period but not registered with Protectorate of emigrants then you can apply for Voluntary Membership and its cost
Compulsory membership does not cost any charge.
If you receive this Field missing prompt then go to Personal Tab and enter Protector Number in protector field according to the format mentioned above it.
And go through the profile's each field that none of the field should be missing or invalid.
Compulsory membership card is valid for life time until / unless you change your country OR your card is misplaced. For issuance of membership card you have to email on the following email address:

VOLUNTARY MEMBERSHIP

If you don't have Protector stamp on passport then you may apply for voluntary membership. You have to make transaction of Rs:2000/ into OPF welfare fund account.

You can only apply for one type of Membership at a time.
Voluntary membership card is valid for life time until / unless you change your country OR your card is misplaced. For issuance of membership card you have to email on the following email address:

Yes, you can re-issue your card in following cases:
  1. If you have never received your card after you applied for it.
  2. If you have missplaced your card.
  3. The details on your card is wrong/mistyped/not complete .

NOTIFICATIONS

The notification can be seen on main home page. Or by clicking on the link "Click here to view your Membership/FERC card".
Notification can only be sent on the web portal.
When your application is on "Information Required" then you need to reply as per the remarks mention on it.

Card Delivery

You can receive your card through following channels.
  • OPF would return the prepared Remittance Cards to the concerned Pak Mission through diplomatic bag.
  • No Remittance Card would be dispatched on the individual address abroad.
Once your card status is dispatched then it will be delivered to you within next 7 working days.
